Who is the client
Apéro Label is a clothing brand synonymous with the young, stylish, fashion lover. Their style is designed to empower all women with 5% of their sales donated towards Women’s Community Shelters. In the past two years, Apéro have emerged as an iconic Australian label, with their famous beaded tees popping up across the country.
Apéro Label came to BA Creative earlier this year to do an audit of their previous website, seeking us for our expertise in Shopify, website design and user experience.
The first challenge presented to us on this project was establishing the goals of the website and auditing Apéro Label’s site, pointing out places it could be stronger and more effective in achieving its goals. Then, it was just a matter of improving user experience and ensuring the website remained on brand throughout.
What we did
We audited Apéro Label’s website, giving them a list of improvements with priority levels of how important various tasks were to implement. This also included installing a few applications to make adding and viewing products even easier for the client and their users, including the addition of our very own Better Product Metafields! Since the changes were so different from the previous version of their website, we also decided to have a mini-reveal and test the site pre-launch.
The result was a fresh Shopify theme that is fully responsive, showcasing Apéro Label’s top categories and featured clothes, limiting customer drop off with a successful back in stock application (streamlining the out of stock process) and sharing their brand with the world (and who runs the world?)!
