About Our Client
A natural and very loyal community base soon followed the success of their cafe, and it was then that they had their first light bulb moment: why not catering as well? After exponential growth in this service offering and an ever increasing demand, Carbon Base soon changed their sole focus to catering services for the greater Brisbane area. With great food always at the heart and soul of their business, the Carbon Base family has a self professed love for bringing their favourite ingredients and meals to the menus they share with their customers.
When Carbon Base first came to BA Creative, we felt their website wasn’t reflective of who they were. We sprung into action and were set with the huge (but exciting!) task of overhauling their outdated adobe acrobat eCommerce website to the Shopify platform. This would allow customers to obtain a quote or order online, as well as adding a delivery and pickup option for their users.
What We Did
We had to convert their website from an Adobe Acrobat eCommerce website to a Shopify one. It had to allow customers to obtain a quote and order online, creating a more friendly user access. Carbon Base also wanted the ability to edit invoices for manual payments, as well as wanting the capability for customers to select from a delivery or pick up option.
We produced a brand new website. This included adding an Instagram feed, Ajax Category Filtering, and a super cool quoting functionality that allows users to add to a quote inclusive of a pricing estimate. As well as the technical stuff, we also helped them tweak their brand, producing a more chic presence in the market.
The new website speaks for itself! Carbon Base has been a great client to work with, and they have achieved what they came to us for! The website is more responsive and allows for a smoother user journey. We also design our sites for an easy transition post-launch, as we give them a detailed training guide that sets them up with all the tools going forward.
Our team is so happy with the outcome of this project!
