Designer / Front End Developer

BA Creative is growing and we are looking for an experienced Designer/Front End Developer to join our amazing Design team. With a minimum 2 years agency experience and high level skills specifically in Shopify and Branding you will be a design superstar dedicated to helping our diverse range of fantastic clients achieve greater success.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Work with Development & Design team to ensure we’re providing the best advice and strategy to achieve our internal and client objectives

  • Work with project managers to understand internal and client needs, prioritize work and resources

  • Conduct brainstorming sessions with creative team, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives

  • Review work done by other team members, ensuring deliverables hit the brief

  • Design and develop on your own projects; pushing creative boundaries and problem solving

  • Present or oversee presentation of final concepts, and obtain approvals for deliverables 

Skills

  • Adobe Creative Suite
    ○ Adobe Illustrator – 95%
    ○ Adobe Photoshop – 75%

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to see the big Branding picture, as well as an eye for detail

  • UX/UI Design

  • Source Control

  • Experience in WordPress design & frontend development

  • Experience in Shopify design & frontend development
    ○ Creating and editing Themes
    ○ Working with third party Apps
    ○ Understanding the limitations of Shopify and the work arounds

  • Front End Development
    ○ LESS / SASS / SCSS – 70%
    ○ CSS – 100%
    ○ PHP – 60%
    ○ Liquid – 90%
    ○ HTML – 100%
    ○ Javascript – 30%
