The Agency is a legal recruitment firm. Their focus is on recruiting lawyers for law firms in Brisbane and throughout Australia. The Agency is owned by Jenny, a former lawyer, who is a unique stand out in the industry for her profound understanding of the process behind legal recruitment. Jenny likes to build transparent relationships with her clients and works to find the perfect fit for each job opportunity. Jenny came to us wanting to rebrand and build a new website.
The challenge was to create an engaging and user-friendly website without the aid of many images. Jenny wanted to make sure that the branding and website design reflected her business model: fun, approachable and friendly. Part of Jenny’s ethos is that she doesn’t believe the recruitment process should be scary or intimidating – she believes that legal recruitment should be an enjoyable, easy practice for both clients and candidates.
During the initial stages of branding, we helped Jenny to identify her brand business model. In doing so, we adapted the name of The Agency to include The Agency Legal Recruitment in Jenny’s social media accounts. This was done so that prospective clients and recruiters would easily know the purpose of The Agency.
We changed the primary colour of the brand from red to teal as this colour better reflected the new direction of the business. A brand device of a wave shape was designed to represent Jenny’s approach at The Agency: calm, customised consulting for each client and job opportunity that differentiates itself from corporate competitors. When approaching the lack of images on the site we decided to focus on highlighting the text through the bold colour scheme, unique shapes and animations.
We created a new brand and website that enabled The Agency to stand out amongst its competitors. This was done through unique brand design elements that included a modern, friendly colour palette, signature wave, and animations throughout the website. We are extremely happy that our design was a creative mix, reflective of Jenny’s personality and brand.
