With ever growing traffic to The Polka Dotter’s website and Instagram, the client needed an update to her brand and logo. It was important to Salma that the new brand and logo presented professionally and reflected her blog’s sophisticated theme & style.
What we did.
The branding process for The Polka Dotter involved reviewing the current brand; research on their market position and target audience; getting a good understanding of the blog’s style; and then creating a moodboard that represented the new brand.
The final logo was an evolution derived from the various concepts that we presented to the client. The final brand was presented complete with fonts, colours and graphical elements, all included in a branding guidelines document which can be used for all promotional material, advertising, digital assets and printed materials.
We are thrilled that The Polka Dotter’s new brand meets our client brief of ‘professional and sophisticated’. The logo consists of a bold, modern wordmark which works with a single letter brand device (the ‘P’) that can be used on its own when the primary logo is too big. Primary, secondary and tertiary colours has been selected as part of the colour palette to show the hierarchy of the brand colours. The graphical elements were also provided to give the finishing touches to the brand.
