About Our Client
Alloy Steel International (ASI) is an Australian owned and operated company with over 30 years in the industry. They are a manufacturer of premium steel products and provide excellent value and cost-effective wear solutions.
While Alloy Steel had a website, it was outdated, cumbersome for the company to update and difficult to navigate. Our main goals were to provide them with a conversion driven website with the ability to add a lot of content without looking or feeling heavy and overwhelming. The client came to us with mockups of how they wanted the website to look and we were able to make recommendations, using our expertise, to enhance usability, responsiveness, and, as a result, its Google-friendliness.
What We Did
As a nimble and agile team, we were able to be flexible in our usual web processes to adopt the client’s preferred way of building websites. Our web developers and designers made a completely customised and responsive site on WordPress, with the ability for the client to add and edit content easily and rearrange the layout of a page to what they wanted, which added to the lifetime value of the website.
We also created a mega menu from scratch without the use of a plugin, and a custom counter feature on the home page, giving Alloy Steel the ability to update the number on the counter as required.
The final website is sleek and modern, built with clean, user-friendly navigation and SEO in mind. It features custom fields to allow the client to update and rearrange content easily, as well as the ability to add blog posts, new information about their products and services as required.
