Sparking new growth

Branding

Test and Tag Supplies, after experiencing significant growth, recognised that their outdated brand and online store no longer reflected the quality of service they provide. Initially seeking only a website update, they realised a complete rebrand was necessary to achieve their desired image.

The previous logo, featuring a drawing of an electrical plug, lacked versatility and failed to differentiate the brand within the industry. They requested a fresh, forward-looking brand that retained their signature red color but avoided typical electrical imagery.

We created a modern and abstract logo suite that incorporated a blocky, stacked brand mark and a sleek sans serif logotype. The design introduced a subtle retro feel with muddy charcoals and a pop of seafoam blue to contrast the vibrant red, resulting in a polished, professional look. This unique identity sets Test and Tag Supplies apart in an otherwise unexciting industry and reinforces a sense of quality and reliability.

Onto bigger things

UX/UI Design

The user experience was a key driver for the transition to Shopify. This allowed for a seamless customer experience for both B2C and B2B customers. Updates such as simplified product pages, clear sitemap structure and use of prominent call to actions buttons has contributed to an increase in sales upwards of 80% post launch.

Integrations galore

Development

Transitioning to a Shopify Plus store has unlocked an immediate improvement in user experience and sales for the business. The development of the site included customised user login experiences for both B2B and B2C users as well as the use of bundling applications to assist customers with add-on products suitable to the specific product.

The MYOB integration was a collaborative effort with CyberWorkshop to implement customer - specific pricing to create a smoother buying experience for customers and automate process checks to reduce administrative load for the Test and Tag Supplies team. This allows for control of product catalogue availability and real time synchronisation of inventory levels, receivables payments and fulfillment.

The digital marketing challenge

After launching a new Shopify store in February, Test and Tag Supplies needed a seamless transition into digital marketing. Google Ads were already driving ~30% of sales, but campaigns were fragmented, acquisition costs were high, and there was no clear retention strategy in place.

Our approach

Digital Marketing

  • Took over Google Ads management with a focus on restructuring campaigns, prioritising profitable products, and cleaning up conversion tracking.
  • Built an SEO roadmap to expand organic visibility, starting with technical fixes, keyword alignment, and content improvements.
  • Introduced email marketing support via Klaviyo, designing lifecycle flows and retention-focused segments.
  • Delivered customer journey insights, identifying two key buyer types — fast, high-intent buyers vs. research-driven buyers needing nurturing.

The impact (month 1)

Digital Marketing

  • Strong start with positive ROAS while working towards a 35% lower CPA and 40% increase in sales as campaigns scale.
  • Clearer audience targeting and product prioritisation are driving early wins.
  • Retention strategy now embedded into the marketing mix, combining ads, email, and SEO for sustainable growth.
