Partnerships built on trust

Tradewise is an Australian-owned freight forwarder and customs brokerage with a long history operating out of the Port of Brisbane. Tradewise came to BA with a legacy brand and an outdated website that was difficult to use and update. They were ready to start over again with a fresh new look from top to bottom!

A vibrant rebrand

Branding

Kicking off with branding, our creative team began detailed competitor and industry research to focus in on how we would shape the next evolution of Tradewise. It was clear that a focus on clean, bright and light aesthetics would be essential to conveying the exceptional customer care and support Tradewise provides. Through focusing on minimalist layouts, vibrant colour palettes and modern typogaphy, we created a brand that feels reliable, trustworthy and honest.

The new Tradewise logo is a modern iteration on the old version. The three interconnecting shapes represent the three core values of trust, reliability and honesty. The logomark also form a subtle 't' shape, and is highly recognisable, even when used in isolation.

The line version of the logomark was then expanded upon to create a unique spirograph pattern. The result is a unique, professional and highly versatile brand suite, with logo versions suitable for any application.

The new colour palette represents a modern evolution of the brand as well. It's familiar enough to maintain the deep industry trust Tradewise enjoys, while adding enough colour pops to help stand out. The result feels bright, welcoming, versatile and reliable. Tradewise's new brand comes together in a vibrant and clean way, representing their strong attention to detail and focus on great customer service.

Modernise and Stand out

WordPress Development

Having completed their rebrand, it was time to turn our attention to the website. Tradewise's existing website was on a different CMS that was difficult to update and customise. They were unhappy with how "template-y" it looked, and wanted a new site that would reflect the high quality service they provide.

The solution was a completely custom design website, built using our in-house developed WordPress theme!

The key goal was to avoid looking like any other service-based website.

The end result had to look completely custom but modern and simple. Custom micro-interactions were an important part of making the website look and feel high-tech. We incorporated completely custom button types with unique animations to help direct users through the website.

A simplified user journey meant the branding could shine, with lots of white space, large headings and bright imagery. Overall, Tradewise has well and truly evolved into the newest version of their business, with a beautiful brand and website that will carry them into the phase of business.
