The Role

As a Digital Project/Account Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of digital projects, ranging from strategy, branding, website builds to ongoing digital marketing initiatives. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution while maintaining strong relationships with clients.

 

What you’ll be doing

    • Project Delivery & Risk Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of digital projects ensuring projects meet client expectations, budget constraints, and timelines. Ensure risks are identified, creating mitigation plans. Projects will include Branding, Shopify & WordPress site builds, ongoing recurring work including marketing, UX/CRO, Klaviyo & SEO.
    • Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication about project status, budgets, and timelines. Foster strong, long-term partnerships by collaborating with our Strategist and Business Development teams to identify and nurture ongoing opportunities. Serve as a proactive bridge between clients and the BA Creative team, delivering exceptional service that ensures client satisfaction and trust. Your role is pivotal in supporting clients effectively while maintaining alignment with project scope, internal processes, and agency objectives.
    • Leading meetings/WIPs/briefings: internal & external including conducting client training.
    • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (strategy, design, development, marketing) to ensure projects run smoothly and team members have clear expectations and resources.
    • Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain project documentation, including scope of work, briefs, timelines & training materials. Monitor project progress and communicate any risks or changes to clients and internal stakeholders
    • Process & Efficiency: Ensure projects are set up and managed efficiently in the Project Management System (PMS), including proper time allocation, task tracking, and resource management.
    • Quality & Profitability: Maintain a high standard of project quality, while ensuring profitability by managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. 
    • Supporting the team: Supporting and providing cover for Head of Delivery, mentoring and supporting other team members.
    • Continuous Learning & Development: Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices. Share knowledge with the team and actively seek opportunities for self-improvement and improving agency efficiency.

 

You Are

  • A juggler with proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and projects. You understand the demands of project management and the challenges various stages present and are able to address these with your calm, solution-oriented approach. Even under pressure.
  • Someone who can adapt to differing client & internal team personalities and needs.
  • Someone who thrives on client contact, you prefer to jump on a video call or pick up the phone for a quick chat rather than labour over writing an email. 
  • Detail oriented and crazy organised (lists, spreadsheets etc), and excellent time manager both for you and your project teams. You test everything before it goes to your client.

  • A comfortable presenter and facilitator, you can conduct CMS training and would even give speaking at an industry event a go.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in agency digital project management, including risk management, across branding, strategy, website builds (WordPress and/or Shopify), UX/CRO retainers and ideally digital marketing.
  • 3+ years of experience successfully managing projects comparable with 500hr budgets over a 6 month timeframe as well as retainer projects 10-30hr/month.
  • 3+ years of experience in building strong & enduring client relationships.
  • 3+ years of experience working consistently at minimum 60% billable
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, with experience using tools such as ClickUp, Google Workspace, and Slack.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to proactively identify and address challenges during project execution.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex project schedules and budgets.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once, while keeping all stakeholders & team members informed.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to stay current on digital marketing trends and technologies.

 

Nice to Have

  • Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Agile) or relevant digital marketing qualifications.
  • Shopify and WordPress experience, though let us know if you’ve worked with BigCommerce or WooCommerce
  • Previous experience with digital marketing tools and strategies (SEO, SEM, PPC, Social Media, etc.).
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and web design processes.
  • Scheduling/Traffic management experience.
